Life Is Short, So I Choose Happiness

Life is short, and I genuinely feel that life is all about being happy. The basis of life is to be happy, and everything else just revolves around that.

We are told to eat healthy food, exercise regularly, and stay fit. But why? It’s not just about being fit for the sake of it. We need to stay fit for longevity. If we are healthy, we can enjoy more, do more things, experience newer things, and eventually be happier.

Apart from health, there’s money. And let’s be honest, money is a necessity in life. You can’t survive without money. If you don’t have enough money, it’s not impossible to be happy, but it definitely becomes difficult. Money allows us to experience new things, enjoy life more freely, and reduce unnecessary stress.

I also believe that we should sometimes eat ‘just tasty’ food (in limit). Because that’s also another kind of happiness. Life shouldn’t feel like constant restriction.

Failures are inevitable. They’re meant to push you towards greater success, not break you. So take them positively.

When it comes to studying and career, it’s basically about choice. You either choose the tough path now and relax later, or relax now and regret later. I’m in college right now, so I can either work hard now and build a career, or take things lightly and face the consequences later.

Now let’s talk about ‘Fun’/(Bakchodi).
It is one of the most important things, not because it replaces work, but because it recharges you. Life becomes very heavy if everything is only about discipline, goals, and pressure. Fun keeps things light. It gives you a break, clears your mind, and helps you come back stronger. Try to have fun while you work if possible. I mean, just laugh, man. Laughing is honestly the best. It reminds you that life is more than deadlines and stress.

Without friends, fun feels bland and incomplete. You need friends who are happy in your happiness and sad when you’re sad. People with whom you can share both good and bad moments without pretending. That kind of friendship matters a lot in life.

Also, I strongly believe in one simple thing: whatever happens, happens for good. Maybe not immediately, maybe not the way we want, but eventually it makes sense. Thinking positive does not harm you in any way. Overthinking negatively only makes you sad and drains your energy. So honestly, it’s better to think fucking positive than to think negative and stay miserable. Positivity keeps you calmer, and happier, and that itself makes life easier.

Also, don’t stress out and waste your energy on petty things. Energy is limited, use it wisely. Instead, try to improve yourself gradually. Identify what you want to change in yourself and actually implement it.

Slowly. Honestly. Your own way.

At the end of the day, I don’t think life is about having everything figured out. It’s about understanding yourself a little more with time. Being healthy, earning money, having fun, failing, learning, laughing with friends, everything is connected. I’m still learning, still messing up, still improving. But if I can stay happy, keep growing, and not lose myself in stress or regret, that’s enough for me. Life is short. I just want to live it happily and honestly.
