Why choose the tough path

Why choose the tough path !!

The path of least resistance often leads to the destination of mediocrity, while the tough path,                                        though challenging, leads to the summit of excellence.

If you are a JEE (or any other competitive exam) aspirant in class 11th/12th, your brain is surely ongoing with a heavy workload. You have to work hard 85-100 hrs. per week in any condition. You have to control your instincts, stay at home and study. When you’re motivated studying is easy but when you’re not motivated it’s too tough to live a life in which you pretend to show others that you’re studying but in reality you know in your mind that you’re wasting your time, even when you know that you have to work hard only for a year or two. Well, most students are regularly motivated by their parents/teachers/videos etc. The thing which happens is that when you’re in coaching, your teacher is giving you a speech for motivation, at the time of listening you’re like “Aaj to bahot padhai karunga, bas ab decide kar liya”, but you go home procrastinate your thought to Monday or any special day and it all vanishes. Well, everyone knows that the main source of distraction is the phone. Of course, you’re reading it on your phone. Just the same way when you open your phone or PC to study but some other windows open, some other apps open, no one is there to stop you, you’re enjoying too and now you have completely forgotten about that motivational speech…..

Well, this was a small part of the harsh reality or you say thoughts of a JEE aspirant.

Now some time to motivate:-

One day I was playing a game in class 11 and my father saw that, he didn’t say anything but well, of course, I cried as I broke his faith in me but that’s just an anecdote to make you realise that how much faith your parents put in you and you break their faith. That same day I said to myself that:-

Ab bas 2 saal h, to get in a better college it all depends on me, agar me game khelu ya movie dekhu, it will give me temporary pleasure, which is temporary and of no use but if I work hard for right now it will give me temporary unpleasure for 2 years but it will soon turn into permanent pleasure. Well, everyone's main goal is to earn money, it’s the truth if you don’t believe this then you’re dumb, everybody wants money and respect and for that, you will have to sacrifice your desires and work hard.

                                                                                                                                                                   -Ojas Jain
